If your grandfather was born on the island of Ireland, you're entitled to claim Irish citizenship. You cannot pass this to your child though (only if you'd already claimed it before they were born).

Unfortunately not. There's more information here, but she'd need to apply for a visa (which would require a job here), and live here for five years to apply for citizenship (same as anyone).

There are plenty of jobs, but accommodation is extremely limited and expensive. She would need a visa, which does limit the type of jobs, and requires a level of pay for the job to be eligible for a visa. https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/moving-country/working-in-ireland/employment-permits/green-card-permits/

Thank you, I believe my mom’s dad was Irish but it’s hard to track where he came from because he was raised by aunts. I’m wondering if he came alone
