I have a mild case of dyslexia and ADHD. I retain way more information when I hear it. My mom used to read to me when I was struggling, and it always helped me improve. Audio books are a lifesaver for me.
Given that storytelling started as an oral tradition and everyone's first books were read to them, I think it is as important part of trade story landscape as braille and picture books.
Iβve always been a voracious reader. I have physically read thousands of books from libraries, resale shops, and ebooks. My eyesight has been going to pot for years. I have over 1000 audiobooks stored online. I definitely support your opinion. ππ
Thank you! I love a good audiobook moment in the mornings and sometimes while I work or drive. Makes it so easy for me to keep up with my reading. BTWβI love your name! π
Valid, yes. But. Iβve given up on them. I love mysteries. When the killer is about to be revealed and I want to go back and check a few facts itβs easy to do in the dead tree version. Not so easy in the audio version.
