The amount of random stuff we've found because my cat had pushed it under something, or had it hidden away is amazing.
She hunts toys at night and brings them to us. She brought us a grape once. We hadn't had grapes for about two weeks at that point. No idea how she got one and where she hid it.
Unfortunately the reality is far more sad. She used to be a street kitty and because itβs so cold here, she lost her ears to frostbite. She is fine now I promise.
I appreciate the pre-credit bat-away shot that gives creedence to a sequel. It speaks to the unending cycle of loss, I'm sure a reference to Fischer-Lichte. Truly visionary cinematography.

But yes, anything small enough for her to bat around will turn up missing and later found by her. It's the rules.
