In the UK a particular book, promoted on here, is on sale at Amazon for 99p. In Australia the same book is $17.99 or 8.98 sterling. This is for the Kindle version. What an absolute rort.

99c promos don't last. Occasionally they occur in other jurisdictions, including Australia. Having said that, I don't use Amazon if I can possibly avoid it. It's MONOPOLY on steroids, squeezing suppliers customers and workers alike.
