Ah, that does provide some context. So no large swings in variety should we somehow phase out biofuels. More likely full-on changes in cropping if there is no market…
Right ... although the turn of phrase "if there is no market" would give heartburn to friends in farming (ha). I think these farmers can be reassured that there will still be plenty of market for corn.
You'd think so...I guess I always have in mind what it would look like if we addressed the sheer number of perverse subsidies and incentives in our food system that prop up corn. But that is not happening soon!
