Most of these farmers most likely voted for dictator Trump but are now crying to exempt their workers from Trumps plan of an all white America. Their vote has consequences, and unfortunately, we all have to suffer their consequences with the expected rising cost of many things.

I second your comment. but there is a hidden problem here as well. these farmers are using these innocent people as “cheap labor” or slaves. that shouldn’t be overlooked just so costs can stay low. there are better ways. hopefully these workers feel they have an opportunity. everyone deserves one!

I would hope so! I’ll admit im not informed as maybe I’d like to be on this, and hope their conditions, and pay feels fair to them. of course they can only negotiate so much, if at all in these situations… I just hope a system can be put in place for honest people (most I believe)

And I post this as someone whose spouse right now is an urban farm worker picking produce for a living except we have the privilege of health insurance through his job, unlike undocumented workers. You never know where life may take you. We remain grateful in this job market and count our blessings.

it's already the reason groceries are higher, Rhonda Santis ran out thousands of farm workers so crops could rot in the fields... the ones that aren't already paved over.
where i live in floriduh was the one the worlds largest producers of tomatoes, now a lot of those fields are houses and condos
