Apropos of nothing I was *not* prepared for how often grant review panels are just a bunch of enthusiastic science nerds with generally impeccable vibes. Easy to read feedback as mean, but pretty often the tone is actually “OOH! This is SO COOL if you just tweak this coupla things!”
