Yes, I had them turned off. Turning them back on as an experiment certainly changes things 😁

I did similar recently, to change how I'm discovering stuff on the platform. Generally a successful move for me, though I did end up unfollowing a few folks for their reposting choices.

You can do things like stopping things from being reposted as well, etc .
I think you can even do that after the fact if someone does a dick move - not that is happens much on here for me yet.
