I am actually listening to Carl Orff, but not the "Carmina Burana" (much as I love that). I'm listening to the rather rebarbative "Prometheus" oratorio.
Orff was a mad scientist of his time, I remember the first time someone handed me sheet music from him and being like "what the hell?" He's very fun, even beyond Carmina Burana.

i love my grandmother with my whole heart, but as one who was asked to play far too many games of “tom tom ti ti ta” with the little cousins this joke strikes a deep chord.
