least they can do, but it doesn't end at the ballot box. Point people to mutual aid projects, protest groups, and direct action orgs and people and then pull the lever every 2-4 years while continuing to fight the system.

for me personally it's a reasonable skepticism because we've been fooled by these two, pretty recently. I'll vote and campaign for them, and I don't begrudge anyone attending the rallies. but Bernie and AOC have steadily decimated their own trustworthiness in ways that could end their own movement.

This is why I speak less and less about politics. I've been "on the ground" for decades, marching , phone banking, organizing, [redacted], all that stuff. Nothing has changed.

Thank godless that there are still people who can feel the optimism necessary for progress.
