As you can see I tested this on stream for consistency and I can confirm my setup works on command, but my stream isn’t your stream and if you have trouble or questions I can try to help!

I think you could achieve this in a 5 command button through SAMMI.
Trigger off redeem with user input, pull message contents, change source text to message, play SFX, and 'movement' the alpha of the nested scene containing the black bar and text in and then back out after x seconds

I haven't looked at mixitup in a long time, but I thiiiiink it needed their servers to be up to work, not sure if that's still the case? Sammi runs on your own pc and people create plugins for it for stuff. One I'm using allows people to interact with stream stuff by directly clicking on it.

idk about their servers tbh, but most of the stuff for MixItUp is local on my end? never had downtime trouble, but admittedly I'm far too stupid to tell unless i see something shit the bed in real time. 😂

Last time I looked I don't think there was a download, so it seems it runs locally now, so that's a moot point lol
