Some truth here (as a person who loves to make fun of academic lingo) but mostly this is bs … there are far more powerful forces creating anti intellectualism

The failure of academia to explain things in layperson terms (up until some efforts recently) is one of the reasons for anti-intellectualism.

The right to decide what is true is not independent from the right to decide what is just.
By just, he means not only what is fair, but what is ethical.
It actually goes back much further than that, but post modernism entrenched a lot of right wing thinkers.
