So, I saw this news yesterday. Trump froze funds on US International development collaboration projects that led to the shut down of India's pioneering trans clinic. My first thought was that it is a general order but now I am starting to think it might be targeted to the community specifically.

It’s probably tangled in the big dismantling of USAID. Things are bouncing around the court system, but it’s all so fucked that even when the courts are reversing or pausing orders, financing isn’t making its way back on. There is so much awful news every day that it’s like a sick parody but real.
