Honestly a lot of the time they don't actually care about men's issues at all. It's just that they get jealous that women get "special attention", so they want to take the attention away from women and try to make it about men instead. This is why they speak up on IWD and ignore IMD.

I would never want to take the attention away from abuse of women, or any abuse toward anyone, in or outside a relationship.
I can only speak on my experiences.
I also think think we men are even worse with highlighting the issue. We tend to just isolate us more from everybody around us.

Both women and men can abuse each other in relationships.
I have had a relationship with a woman that included mostly psychological abuse with some physical abuse also.
But, it seems that women have much more resources.
Men do get abused by women also.
