Put myself on “Everyday Blackout” since Jan 20th, buying only what is absolutely necessary to survive. So far, I’m consuming everything to the last drop, no more alcohol 😡 and I have lost like 10 pounds already. Feeling great 👍
We spent the last several years fully boycotting Home Depot. Only went to Lowe’s. My youngest even went and got a job at Lowe’s. They cut DEI. My son quit. Happily found a new job in a place that doesn’t violate 90% of osha regs, doesn’t abuse its employees, and pays considerably better!
I could write a book about all the osha violations at Lowe’s. (At least the local ones. But corporate is aware because my son was injured (twice seriously) on the job and he had to deal with the pencil pushers. Thankfully the new job takes safety very seriously.
I no longer shop at corporate stores. I instead go to my local, family owned Latino market. Produce is fresh! They appreciate my business and treat me with respect. There are also a few Black owned shops I shop at also.

I think Friday should be boycott all shopping.
