Gerrymandering is likely the reason Democrats lost the House. Anyone running for DNC chair without addressing gerrymandering, is missing the boat! There needs to be a longterm plan for this.

Also the senate seats should be weighted by state population, for obvious reasons.
Keep the Senate seats at 2 per state.
Enlarge the House so that there is equal representation for all; remove the 435 limit on House seats.
AND
Eliminate the Electoral College.
The States wanted equal representation (the Senate) the people (We The People) get proportional representation (The House).
They are the total number 2 senators, plus your number of reps ... but the House currently has a 435 seat limit.
2 for each state.
