Part of the global social contract is forgiving citizens for the uncontrollable acts of their government. I hope they afford us the same courtesy. Been thinking a lot lately about where the line should be drawn on that though.

Donald Trump is a menace, but the one who supported the assassination of an advocate for peace and the poor in my country was Jimmy Carter.

The American Empire didn’t start with Trump or even Bush. It has involved both Republicans and Democrats. Apologize for all of it or none of it.
