I'm glad you're playing it! I just started a new game about an hour ago. I keep seeing people on here talking about playing it so I picked it up on Steam. I've played through it multiple times... it's my favorite game.
It is one of my absolute favourites. It has so much depth, and it has arguably imo the best battle system of any of the games in the entire franchise. It is the kind of experience I loved all the way through, and the graphics were beautiful. I also loved the blitzball minigame.

Return to Zanarkard is a masterpiece of a theme.
The surfer / summer vacation vibe really helps to balance the heavy foreboding atmosphere that follows you all the way through.
I need to replay it myself one day actually. 😏
