🌱Yes, Plant Antifreeze Proteins ARE fascinating. Narcissus of southerly origin (N. bulbocodium, N. tazetta, etc.) that make foliage & flowers in Fall or Winter have less need. Can squeak through a mild snow-covered Chicagoland Winter, but if bitter & dry they're toast. Tazetta in pic Spring planted.
