The short answer is no. And there’s not enough characters available to delve into the manifestly obvious contradictions in the US “position” just now on Ukraine. “Give us access to your REE’s etc for nothing in return except being sold down the river” is a fair summary.

One more comment: remember one of the reasons Putin gave to invade Ukraine was the militarization of Eastern Europe? He also wanted the demilitarization of the Baltic States. If Putin gives him something interesting in return, Trump may accept and screw NATO. No limit to the insanity.
