It was originally made for gamers, but it’s evolved into more of a general social hub/chat room/whatever while still leaning into gaming. It’s basically just WhatsApp with extra bells and whistles.

Nitro is the in-app currency (sorta)
It gives you access to custom app icons, custom graphics for your profile, themes, and allows you to send larger files. It’s like having discord pro™️
