I owe everything in my life to public education (and PBS of course). My children are successful because of public education. I hope my grandkids have the opportunity.
Called and will continue to call. Urging my friends and neighbors as well.

They can’t dismantle the dept of education without a congressional vote, and they’d need 2/3 of congress to vote in favor of dismantling it. They don’t have enough votes. Linda can go pound sand.

I left a message for 1 of my senators, the other wouldn’t connect to their voicemail (his office never answers). I got through to my representative’s office for whatever that’s worth. I’m in North Carolina and all of mine are republicans. I don’t have much hope for them doing anything.
