It's Rect Native! Now I understand some things about page reloads and tab switching. I hope they change to Kotlin Multiplatform ♥️Thank you so much @woj-tek.bsky.social
Hmm... I'm not sure about Kotlin Multiplatform but does it offer "native web" or only wasm? I mean - react native *feels* to have somehow slightly better feel in the browser :)
React is probably much better on the web, in Kotlin Multiplatform I have tried things from Wasm so far POCs, but there is also another target which is KotlinJS, but I cannot give an opinion yet.
I only have (very hasty) exposure a Kotlin Compose Multiplatform (with kotlin multiplatform library) and the experience was... "weird". Compose on Android (w/Kotlin) is kinda OK though I think that the best would be KMP library and consuming resulting libraries in native applications doing UI.
CMP is getting closer to the stable iOS version. At my work we are making progress with it and the most complicated thing we are finding is the conversion of dataclasses from iOS. I believe that with patience in each version it will be less traumatic and there will be more documentation.
