I’m thinking these stalks never got eyes. The stalks are pointy & proportional. Eyes too big for stalks - would have been floppy like a cat toy on a spring.

But who knows? All them Australian animals got mixed up anatomy.

Oh good! I thought I'd miss a crucial part of something 😂 like maybe they're all slugs but some have houses. I recently discovered dolphins have spare bones and it's really undermined my understanding of nature!
