I have never felt more vindicated for turning off Siri the second "hey Siri" was released. I don't tend to be particularly tin-hat about tech, but I thought there was no WAY it wasn't doing this. I wasn't even sure turning it off would prevent it from listening, but i figured off was better than on.

Human language is one of evolution's greatest wonders and it is for humans to communicate with other humans. When I need to communicate with inanimate objects, there are other tools for that.
I know i'm a crank, but happy to die on this hill.
