Running for a seat is beyond me. I'm disabled. I'm too disabled to work, I'm so disabled I can't even care for myself. I am doing the most I can by trying to attend a protest this Tuesday. I will be getting there on the paratransit bus, and I will be in a wheelchair. I'm making a sign.
I’m stuck in a red state too. I loved Connecticut but could no longer afford to live there. My vote didn’t make a difference here but at least I know I didn’t help the 🍊🤡
So there's hope! I grew up in Ireland at a time when it was basically a theocracy, and in 2015 it became the first country to legalize same-sex marriage through a popular referendum. It made "gra the law," ("love the law). Hence the "gra" in my name. I know change is possible if enough people care.
Moving is definitely not cheap! We'll see if MinnesotaCare picks up the slack if they try to take out SSDI and Medicaid, too. The DFL here has been very aggressive and my hope is that we take care of our own, including the most vulnerable among us. Perhaps one day that will include you 😘
