I am sick and tired of the idiot in chief. He has told lie after lie already. The airline tragedy has not been fully reported yet and he is placing blame on Biden, DEI and others. What a shame.
Many countries still have the semblance of a functioning democracy, but these are being taken over by those who spend the most on buying influence and manipulating the debates and the way we vote. The best of us doubt and despair, the worst offer false narratives & false hope
Until we find a way to get the money out of politics, democracies will continue to be eroded until such time as our votes are pointless. We need real democracy that isn't factional and divisive, where election winners change the rules to their side's advantage at the expense of our common interests.
I'm not sure there are many who belong to a political party who can truly represent the voters. In the UK party whips tell MPs how to vote. Going against the whip means you lose your place in the "gang". Framers of US constitution attempted, but failed to prevent parties forming
