You have the First Amendment right to protest, but local rules apply and this does not give you the right to be violent or destructive
Cops canβt search you without cause. If arrested, stay silent & ask for a lawyer. ALWAYS. (π§΅2/11)
Go with a buddy or group. DO NOT protest alone.
Bring water, snacks, first aid.
Protect yourself: goggles, masks, earplugs in case of tear gas or loud dispersal tactics. (π§΅3/11)
Assume youβre being filmed & tracked. Disable Face ID & fingerprint unlock, use a passcode instead.
Use encrypted apps (like Signal) & strip metadata from photos before posting. (π§΅4/11)
On iPhone (iOS):
β’ Open the photo & tap Share.
β’ Select Options (top of the screen).
β’ Toggle βLocationβ off before sending/posting.
iPhone Alternative Method:
β’ Save the photo to the Files app first.
β’ Sharing from Files instead of Photos removes metadata. (π§΅5/11)
β’ Open the photo in Google Photos.
β’ Take a screenshot & share that instead (screenshots donβt retain metadata).
β’ Or use a metadata removal app like Photo Metadata Remover. (π§΅6/11)
β’ Right-click the photo > Properties (Windows) or Get Info (Mac).
β’ Find metadata/EXIF info & remove location/details before sharing. (π§΅7/11)
This is why iOs has separated fingerprint unlock from passcode unlock.
But Smart
Assume people will be moles looking to start stuff and cause problems. Protect your ID, cover up tattoos, wear no labels or unique styles.
