The first assumption there is that government employees all work in offices. Many work in the field, in museums, parks, monuments, etc. FDA inspectors are in packing plants and abattoirs, visiting factories and processors.

These people not intelligent, no clue what feds do. In office or teleworking, feds have a PIV card w/a microchip– 2 open doors & LOGIN insert card into computer. Productivity, appts, work tracks in real time😆. Taxpayers need elected reps post what they did etc. play golf, sports event –you’re fired!

Terrorizing federal workers is the same. Make them feel not just inconvenienced, but afraid ... also get people to quit on their own so that they don't have to be "let go." See who plays the game and toes the line, who's the most compliant and loyal, etc. It's disgusting.

I worked for SSA until 08/24. I worked in office 3 full days & at home 2 full days. I had full access to the same data I had at my office through my comp/VPN. I signed in each day thru my computer. My govt phone allowed me to reach all my contacts. It was only slightly different from 40 hrs in off.
