Fantastic! I will never forget visiting Nebraska, and being surrounded by the cacophany (but in a good way!) of *thousands* of Sandhill Cranes. It was overwhelming and amazing, and every time I remember it, I think "I need to go back!" Maybe next year :).

Two of these Western Tanagers landed in the tree outside my office in Seattle (Belltown). It was my 2nd sighting ever, and my coworker later told me that it was the most excited he'd seen me in the 5 years we'd worked together
