i personally love critiquing things i enjoy, but i can understand how a well articulated opinion can sway u towards losing interest, id recommend re-engaging with the original work afterwards. & with the new opinions in mind u can see if u actually dislike it now or if u were just momentarily swayed

Good faith critique is done with the honest desire for things to improve. We want better movies, better games. So we analyze what we think makes media "good"er.
That doesn't have to take away from the media in question. Nothing is unimprovable. Some people find many faults and some find few (cont.)

The fact that "so bad that it's good" is a genre should've made us aware of the fact that what we think makes media "good" is not always the same as what makes media worth experiencing.

I usually don't click them but when I do, I use it as an exercise to analyze biases both mine and the video creator, and to explore what is that I actually enjoy

If a game I love is grindy, then I guess I like some grind for example

Only way I know to stop it is to flood your feed with retrospectives that aren't out to rage-bait, or media that is not related to reviews of media to begin with. This is, granted, easier said than done.
