Nobody recieved training regarding it. They dropped off an Ipad in a standee (that I constantly had to reinstall their broken app on and set back up) and said 'Store the cans/bottles and we'll pick them up once a week when we deliver stock to your store like usual.'

Who-knows-what from dripping bags of recycling, BEGGING head office to come and see the state of things. They got us a 10ft shipping container, which people filled up in a single business day with recycle. Then we had to explain we couldnt take any more. This was in a semi-rural area and some folks

Brought their stuff to us from out Woopwoop and to do their monthly shoppinh. So they couldnt take the cans home. We had no way of telling them we were full. Ended up with tens of bags at my home constantly. Management was bleeding money from the container rental, the extra cost of trucking the cans

Back to the sorting center to actually process peoples refunds. Meanwhile I had angry people accuaing me of stealing their cans for myself, changing labels, needing help to understand the setup etcetc as well as making sure the container was packed safely so I didnt get clobbered by glass bottles😅

And running the ipad resetting etc, and my usual actual retail job. Every day I had to have a sink-shower from getting covered in recycle-juice halfway through my shift.

All efforts to communicate this were ignored or pushed aside, our take-numbers kept being increased, couldnt ever reach them.
