I agree, a lot of nuanced discussions with my patients around SCR, data protection esp in context of what and why they’re apprehensive about sharing. And then there’s this video which is “do this or you may die”

It winds me up that so many data-sharing exemplars seem to revolve around the small-print "what happens if you're unconscious with no friends/relatives, in a hospital away from home" rather than any of the genuine data problems that we experience every day in the NHS
