China REALLY doesn't like separatists and views Taiwan, Tibet, and Hong Kong as part of it basically because until recently they were. Not saying that's correct, but it's super different from Trump's imperialist goals with us.

Carrying out a trade war to protect American EVs is beyond stupid at this point. Trump clearly wants to destroy our auto industry, so work out something with BYD and China to assemble or parts build for their cars here.
