I could potentially do the class, depending on how many people are there and what kind of space there is. There’s a hands-on portion that gets awkward and consumables consuming with more people. Though I suppose a version could be done without that

I've been two two Stop The Bleed courses, & am heading to a third that goes All Out with the pump & gauze full Hands On.

One just had gel & pvc mock ups to pass around with a demo, no hands on. The other used short sections of pool noodles to simulate hands on with gauze. Partnered for Tourniquets.

So there's definitely scaling options for whether you end up with too many people for full hands on, and can only call up a few volunteers. Or aren't allowed to bring out the messy spray pump (which should be disclosed beforehand because Yikes for comfort).

Yeah, I saw the cost for the starter set with the sim wounds. And the cost of the wounds on their own XD. I might be crowd funding for the kit here soon, once I hear back from STB.

I will be happy to boost that if it's the route you go! And the cheapo Amazon tourniquet might be good for training. Even though they're known to snap. The real ones are too pricey to get dozens for demos!

If it helps (and this is absolutely not a substitute for an actual class and continued training) look up what a MARCH exam/assessment/protocol is and become familiar with it for emergencies. Sign up for a class though to understand how to use medical interventions (tourniquets, chest seals, etc.).
