Agreed! But I’d also say that storylines to follow that fit the songs too. Mvs today are so much more abstract and I feel like aesthetics have become more of priority than storytelling too.

Ugh I love a good storyline! And don’t get me wrong I love a good aesthetic but sometimes not even the aesthetic fits the song which is even worse like what happened to direction?!! 😭
