I’m still bemused by that decision to blow the whistle as we were on the counter.

Schar’s goal on 90, the VAR review of the Burn “handball”… either of those warranted more than 10 extra secs on top of added-on time.

I was just thinking about the other stuff he missed in that Liverpool game; the penalty on Isak by Quansah plus the off-the-ball assault on Gordon by van Dijk in their penalty area. That was a red card and a likely penalty.

Been going that way, with blatant penalties denied - look at the foul on Gordon vs. Ipswich; Clarke was nowhere near making a legitimate challenge and was shoving him mid-air before the ball met his head. Penalty, not given.

Then there was Quansah on Isak vs. Liverpool. Nothing given again.

Seems VAR don’t want to re-referee games but when there’s a mistake, surely you ask the referee to have a look again to see if thinks he got it wrong first time around…

Missed the penalty on Isak vs. Liverpool as well. VAR were as useless in that as they didn’t flag it to him either.

Also missed the off-the-ball elbow assault on Gordon by van Dijk in the Liverpool penalty area in that game. Another penalty and red card.

Bloody awful referee. Needs binning.

Not the extra three though. There was one substitute after an injury treatment to Botman, which *could* equate to 30-60 seconds extra but nowhere near the three minutes.

Given there was a goal and a VAR call in added-on time in the Liverpool game, allowing only 10 seconds was ridiculous from him…
