How shallow you must think I am.
I have friends where a couple agreed that if the child was a girl it would take the wife's surname and it was a boy it would take the husband's surname..
The first child was a girl and she has her mother's surname. The father is perfectly on board with this.
You bet she kept her name.
And I don't buy that argument. If it was about anything other than your marriage, you could just change your name to anything you want.
Either way, the save act would screw you
This is like when women judge other women for quitting a job to raise a child. The beauty is that anyone can make the choice that's right for them.
