I like the "party-line" of 'togetherness' he's taken & the senior (well, Maddison at least) are (at minimum) on message with. You can see it being effective. It's astute management even without comparison to Mourinho & Conte's self preservation &hating of the club.

The PL is the bigger sample size, but the EL is what's been priorised.

For me wanting to know how we go with Ange next season by far outweighs my faith in getting anyone who might do better. I'm not sure I'd be able to bear it if he goes and we never get to find out what would have happened.

We have failed to stick with managers time and again and look how well that's worked out for us... If we don't break the pattern with a manager who very much seems to still have the dressing room when will we? I despair of those who ignore the circumstances around this season.

Yeah, looking rid of a manager that got us to only our third european final in over forty years and who still has the full support of his players would seem pretty stupid, so they've tried to sugar coat it. Only it makes even less sense.

Totally agree. It’s beyond disrespectful. He’s clearly a good coach, I’ve never seen any of his players be anything other than complimentary, and he’s got us to our 6th Euro final ever. I don’t think the ones pushing this narrative deserve to see us win anything, at least not under Ange.

For my part, I was fully supportive of Ange up to the Leicester home game and have been 50/50 ever since.
Still not sure really, but big results like making the EL final nudges me to keep him for next season.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to YouTubers and Podcasters, as they generally (not all) issue silly headlines to get clicks and therefore money.
EL final - it’s all about winning it.
Trusting the process - when the league results are so poor, most won’t trust it. Human nature!
