Doing a u-turn on Brexit would be risky, but it could outflank Labour and create clear blue water between the Tories and Reform.

At the moment, the Tories are set to be obliterated by Reform at the next election, so what's she got to lose?

Very surprised by this. 1) almost certain this is not a precursor to her or any other Tories moving to 'actually Brexit itself was a mistake' but 2) the message as digested by anyone that pays attention may well be just that, and even for those that distinguish, shift scrutiny to the new plan.

Alternative "plans" aren't ground the right would want to fight on. No deal isn't deliverable. TCA improvement is Starmer's policy. SM/CU = betrayal. So why bring it up, as you say. Perhaps to lay the ground for more libertarianism, but voters don't want that, and it's Trussish.

So she's admitting the massive mistake of the highly damaging generic phrase "get Brexit done" and she's replacing it with another highly damaging and generic phrase "a plan for growth" which is also basically being used by Labour to avoid mentioning or discussing Brexit. They're all ridiculous.
