Roland Emmerich is the most under-respected director of our generation. The dude makes fucking roller-coaster theme park ride movies, and thats like "hes not a real artist" when the "real artists" can't gross a tenth of what he does. I'm sorry, but movies should be fun as hell, and he does that.
