this is my first black history month working at a black-owned bookstore, and yesterday i was sitting at the desk feeling like i was missing something. but in fact i did not need to curate a bhm display bc over half our stock is black books. a surprising relief that i’m still processing

I copied it for my students to read, and I don't even teach English. I teach physics. LOL. ☮️
Native Americans today have grounds for solidarity with Black Americans, against white supremacy. But the rise and fall of Cahokia is part of American history, and it does not overlap with Black history.
