Is there a way, without limiting freedoms, to inject rationality and evidence into groups, to prevent them becoming mobs*?
My guess is no, because it's an asymmetric problem, i.e. it's much easier to create an emotion-driven group than to disrupt it.

* Groups who act like a stupid, violent person.
