It works very well. In texas it’s part of the vaccine for children so it’s free for lots of kids. But there are still logistical blocks for some. It much less expensive than Palizumab ( Synagis) and only one dose. Simple criteria to decide who gets it. 🎉

The vast majority of moms this year in our office have gotten the RSV vaccine in pregnancy, which is great! As of right now the recommendation is pregnant moms only get that once, so Beyfortus will be important for future babies.

A quick vaccine is way better than RSV! Our kid was in the PICU for a week and a half with RSV when he was four. Wish it worked for older kids too! We’d do it every year.
