I already have. It’s been wiped from my calendar. I will not display my American flag again until Trump & company have been neutralized. I’m tired of victimized by a Florida orange and a socially awkward billionaire.
I hate paper straws. They make my milkshake taste like a newspaper. That’s why I take reusable stainless steel straws with me when I get one. Also as a none US citizen I can live with the cancelled president‘s day.
I have stainless steel straws as well. They're the best solution. You have to wash them, but that's not such a problem as they came with a little scrubber thingy. And I propose we not only cancel President's Day but also the president. And his cabinet.

Protests are being planned. Please join one in your area. It's up to u.s. citizens to fix this mess before it gets any worse. Put the convicted felon/rapist/terrorist and his cronies in jail where they belong and find a capable person to lead the country out of the pit it's fallen into. Please.

Innocent people suffering will always matter to me. This all started way back in the '90s when our media was essentially hijacked. Once disinformation starts to spread, it's very hard for people to vote intelligently. And yet half+ of the nation still did so. (Screwed by the electoral college.)
Because evil triumphs when good people do nothing. I understand your feeling of helplessness, but don't let that stop you from making a stand against the evil that has gripped your once-proud nation. Stand up and be counted among those who oppose lawlessness and depravity.
Only among certain types. Thankfully, saner heads will prevail, though it's so easy for some to descend into the trump pit of darkess than to rise above it. In all of history, evil like trump's eventually loses.
