Thanks for highlighting this important issue, it is astounding that we have refused to learn important lessons from Covid, and we continue to endanger children’s long term health ( including cognitive function) by not protecting them. History will judge us poorly for this blatant stupidity.

I’m already judging us harshly in the, what I call, #MadnessChaosAndDeath chapters of my thesis. As a historian, it doesn’t take you long to realise, we never learn. My forementioned chapters are a comparison between plague management by 16th-century French leaders & the Morrison/Albo disaster duo.

Leo, I, too, was an early pre-COVID bushfire masker. That was how I experienced personal proof that masks work and clean air is better for my health. Years later, I have air purifiers in my unit where I work from home, and they make a difference.

I still crack up about the Freedumb convoy that descended on Canberra and were protesting in front of Parliament House. A couple of them got stung by bees. They then started screaming that PH was vaccinating them via vaccine-filled bees.
