The latest YouGov poll shows Labor and the Coalition TIED on 33% in the national primary vote
If this was the actual election result, it would be the lowest vote total for the Coalition since the Liberal Party was formed in 1944

Historically it’s been Labor or the Liberal/National Coalition as the top two in almost all seats, so it’s known as two-party-preferred
They poll TPP at a national level as well
In top-two contests where it’s not those two majors (say it’s Greens or an independent) it’s know as two-CANDIDATE-preferred, and we’ve seen more TCP contests emerge recently
It'd be like CPC & LIB shutting NDP out, they can't win but are still heard.
I’d like minor party debates but with both a House and Senate the criteria might get a bit complicated
Although at 6 News we’ve been able to have minor party Sebate debates
It was pretty forgettable.
I'd like to see Malcolm Roberts debate Ange Harper (JLN) as they'll be battling for the 6th senate spot in QLD.
Basically, the 2-party preferred shows which party is more likely to form government, whilst the primary shows the most likely composition of the House of Representatives (to oversimplify).
You want this system in Canada.
Proportional Representation doesn't, such a party would likely lead minority governments.
Which explains 100% of the Canadian Liberal's behaviour on (lack of) reform.
(No shade on 6 News in particular. I just think it's a bad metric).
Tldr: it sucks because it's reductive and tells the most boring political story possible
Both support the terrorist state of Israel, in defiance of international law
But support #AUKUS
Both support our nations resources being stolen by anyone who is willing to make a donation

We can still ensure Dutton goes no where near the Lodge or Kirrabilli House.

? Some wa party
Are there really people out there proudly announcing that they're gonna vote for for a fucking bullshit party owned by a billionaire called "Trumpet of Patriots"?
Has anyone spotted any in the wild?
Lots of people really don’t get the Coalition agreement thing and the referring to the Coalition as the LNP doesn’t help that confusion
