True, but not to the same extent imho. What I like to call tribalism seems to be worse in the US, probably because their two party system encourages this kind of us vs them thinking where people seem to dislike everything the other "tribe" does just on principle.

Germany isn't much better though.

Yes I was in the USA last summer, raw milk especially in rural conservative areas seems to be the latest craze there. Again another case of people being gaslighted by conservatives for political reasons. For whatever reason the GOP drew a political line on raw milk support out of stupidity!
