We just need to reallocate the billions spent buying elections to feed our children. Such misplaced priorities…

The word "child" is an unnecessary qualifier to to the truth of that sentence. We produce more than enough real resources to address the needs of the world.
Poverty? Policy choice.
Unemployment? Policy choice.
Housing shortage? Policy choice

Let’s be clear: Child poverty doesn’t ‘just happen.’ It’s engineered.
• When we underfund schools
• When we deny living wages
• When we gut safety nets
We’re not ‘saving money’—we’re choosing to abandon kids.

I'd go so far as to say adult poverty is also a choice. It's a choice society makes.
