Question for you all. What is a video game or movie/movies that you wish you could experience again for the first time?
For me, the video game would be Skyrim. It was everything I wanted it to be when it was released.
The movie/movies would be the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. I watched them...

For a movie definitely avengers infinity war. That movie had me hooked from beginning to end.
I still remember plugging up the N64 and running around not knowing what to do.
Film has to be Oldboy. The twist at the end was a colossal shock.
Film - difficult, but probably Airplane it’s one of my favourites, plus Leslie Neilsen steals the show.
“It’s a big building full of patients, but that’s not important right now”
guess mine would be Bloodborne but mostly for the memories I have attached to it of fighting bosses while on Skype to my old friends lol
movie? probably Home Alone, comfy
Movie, probably Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse? Maybe the Zeitgeist around Infinity War, I can’t decide
As for Into the Spiderverse? Couldn’t recommend it enough, I saw it in cinemas when it was released, 10/10 perfection
MGS2 was truly mind-bending. If you don't know, snap up a copy and play it, even if it's on "very easy" to run through the story. You won't regret it, promise.
For movies, l pick the Dark series.
Movie: Jurassic Park
Also the ost is a banger
To The Moon is, on the face of it, a simplistic pixel-art point-and-click adventure presented in the classic 2D Zelda style.
What it ACTUALLY is is the most emotionally devastating piece of media - of any kind - that I have ever experienced. To this day I choke up describing it.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go into a dark room and rock back and forth.
Movie would have to be Freedom Writers.
Both games’ stories truly broke me and I would love to experience them for the first time again.
theres also the community-made mods like portal reloaded and portal stories: mel if u want more!
Movies would be the Ghibli universe, for the same reasoning.
Movie - Hot Fuzz. Hearing those jokes all for the first time and belly laughing will never be topped
I can re-experience Skyrim through their various mods selections, but can't say the same with Fallout 4.
Also, Pokemon games. I wish to be a kid again and just catching Pokemon all day.
Final fantasy 9
Lemmings
Doom
GTA 1
The incredible machine
Loom
Maniac Mansion
Monkey Island
Full throttle
movie is tough, maybe funny games just to feel the revulsion and discomfort turn into appreciation again
All of detective games I played (Both Judgments, Chicken Police, etc.)
& I would love to forget and rewatch Durarara and Erased. Again, second one can be considered a detective. I loooove detective stories 🤙🤙
Chicken police as well!! Sequel came out not too long ago. Haven’t played it yet, but the first game is amazing!! (^◇^)
Can't even count how many times I have watched the original movie but I will always remember standing in line to see it opening week. Life changing.
In SWG running for my life from Womp Rats on my first day playing is still funny today.
Movie - superbad
For a movie, I’d love to experience the 70’s Willy Wonka movie or the original Muppet Movie.
Movie wise I’d say the Halloween town series, and hocus pocus. Been hooked on those since I was a kid.
And I think for movies maybe Nausicaa, if the criterion is "experience again for the first time"
and movie would probably be The Uninvited, i love a plot twist movie and this one had a great one.
i’ve actually never played fo3, i need to give it a try!
Game....Red Dead Redemption 2.
For movies: Redline. I envy anyone that gets to watch Redline for the first time.
For movies I would say The Prestige, Infinity War & Endgame
And I can definitely agree with LOTR! It was so much fun those years it released in the cinema!
The Matrix
Movie would be 300 without a doubt.
Gives a very interesting twist to every cliche third-person shooter.
The Batman would be my pick for movie, only I could do it in theatres again, that shit went hard.
Currently, very much enjoying Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Movies: Beetlejuice, Dune 2, Bridesmaids
I don’t have a movie tbh, I don’t remember movies well, so I… always kinda do see them for the first time 😅
Yes, I know who everyone in Lord Of The Rings is and what the plot is. But if you ask me stuff like “when did this you shall not pass” thing happened… Idk? It happened.
Jumpscares are still kinda a thing. Thrillers and true crime are worse, horror movies rarely are like realistic.
For movies, Jaws, LotR, the entire MCU catalogue. In fact… all movies. I would love to see all of the movies again for the first time.
A whole world to explore.
I miss those days of simply being amazed at what I'm seeing in a video game.
Nms did that to me, but after playing for 300 hours and counting it lost its magic
Movies I would say into the spider verse movies!
Movie would be The Grand Budapest Hotel
- The ending of Legend of Korra confirming Korrasami as canon
- Agatha All Along ep 7
- Season 2 finale of Interview with the Vampire
- Season 1 finale of the Good Place
movie: a silent voice
TV series: avatar the last airbender
Main movies would be The Wailing, The Usual Suspects, Infinity War/End Game, and Children of Men.
Film is The Dark Knight. Heath Ledger's Joker was so unhinged. You really had no idea what he'd do next.
Fable, Bioshock, or Kindom Hearts
Movies:
Jurassic Park or Jumanji
There's many movies that are suiable, but those are standouts in my mind.
Video game-wise, it'll probably be FFX or RDR2
Movie - The Matrix or Fellowship of the ring.
I have a far less teenager appreciation for it now though.
I fell in love with La Bamba as a kid and man the last scene gives me chills
Men in black is possibly my all time fav, only watch it when I’m sick but I’d give anything to watch it for the first time
One of the greatest of all time!
Movie: Independence Day, Scarface, The Jerk, Monty Python: The Life of Brian and Search for the Holy Grail, Shawn of the Dead.
